Lauderdale Isles Unit II (that's us) was developed back in the 1950's and built by Gill Construction Co. They printed and sent out postcards, among other things, to advertise the homes.
Thanks to a kind neighbor, Pat Haydu of Andros Lane, here's what we looked like over 50 years ago! Can anyone identify the property shown here?

from a January 1951 issue of the Sun-Sentinel by Marty Steinberg
of Shady Banks.
Shady Banks, the original Lauderdale Isles Unit I, changed its name early in the game to prevent confusion between the two areas.

I found this in my files and do not know who sent it to me. The present owners of 2612 Whale Harbor Lane have claimed this original floor plan of their home.
