 OLD BUSINESS:  None

 NEW BUSINESS:

Joan Sheridan announced the First Annual Toy Drive for the COP which is the community policing group for our area within Fort Lauderdale.  Toys are needed by November 23.  Small, unwrapped toys for boys or girls are needed.  You can take them to the downtown police headquarters or drop them off at Joan’s home.

An expanded Nominating Committee is needed to fill open positions, especially that of Secretary.  Ray Figueroa volunteered to join the committee, composed of Bud Bracey and Elaine Peterick.

George Counts announced that the future Marine Museum in downtown Fort Lauderdale has been approved by the City Commission.  He asked for volunteers to contact him if they would like to help staff the museum.

Joan Sheridan suggested that the Board of Trustees develop a list of residents for each lane.  The list should contain the resident’s name, address, and phone number.  The list would be used by each Trustee to contact the residents of his/her lane for emergency meetings and other important occasions.  Robert Mulder (954-791-0593) volunteered to research the tax roles to see if he could develop such a list.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
